Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 – Arrival and Orientation

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where our VIP concierge will fast-track your entry. Transfer to Wilson Airport for a scheduled light aircraft flight to the Maasai Mara. Upon landing on the airstrip, you will be met by your guide for a transfer to your luxury camp. After a sumptuous lunch and orientation on camp sustainability practices, enjoy your first afternoon game drive, ending with a classic sundowner as the sun dips below the Oloololo Escarpment.

DAY 2 – The Pursuit of the Big Five

Dedicate the day to tracking the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino). An early start allows us to catch predators at their most active. We traverse the endless plains, observing cheetahs scanning from termite mounds and herds of elephants moving through the acacia woodlands. A bush picnic lunch is served under the shade of a lone tree, minimizing travel time and maximizing wildlife encounters. Dinner is served under the stars at the lodge.

DAY 3 – Cultural Immersion and Conservancy Drive

Today we shift focus to the human element of the ecosystem. Visit a traditional Maasai Manyatta (village) to learn about their semi-nomadic lifestyle, beadwork, and how they coexist with wildlife. Your visit supports local community projects. In the afternoon, explore a private conservancy where

off-road driving is permitted, allowing for intimate sightings of elusive species like the leopard. Evening brings a fireside chat with a resident naturalist.

DAY 4 – Sky High Adventure

Wake before dawn for the highlight of your safari: a Hot Air Balloon flight. Float silently over the waking plains, witnessing the scale of the ecosystem from above. Touch down for a champagne breakfast cooked on the savannah. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the spa facilities at your lodge or take a guided nature walk to learn about the “Little Five” and medicinal plants.

DAY 5 – Farewell to the Wild

Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast and a short en-route game drive to the airstrip. Fly back to Nairobi, capturing final aerial views of the Rift Valley. You will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international departure or to your Nairobi hotel, carrying the spirit of the Mara with you.
